What does everyone think of the name Ellison for a girl, with the nickname Ellie? Does Ellison sound too boyish?

    Yes, it sounds too boyish. If you want to have Ellie as a nn, there are about a million beautiful girl names that would work.

    Yes, it sounds boyish. There are a ton of actual female names that can get you the nn Ellie.

    Yeah, it's way too masculine for a girl. If you really want the nn Ellie, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Eloise are beautiful options that would work for you.
