MessageDealing today with (another) pregnancy announcement. The stick had not dried and I was the lucky one to get the face to facenews. Somewhere in theblurred this isn't happening moment, I am pretty sure she mentioned God's will. What made this particular announcement unbearable...I am six days late for my period, which is giving me rediculous false hope. My local RE recommended I POAS and that is going to put me over the edge. I know it is my hormones attempting to regulate after all the cycling, but my nerves grow with each day that passes without AF showing. Crawling into my hole of self pity. This feels like one evil mind game.*Posting from my phone. TB doesn't make it an easy task!

I am so sorry - that just sucks. I know you don't want to POAS but how can you not? I know I always hold out hope and am crushed when I am wrong but I wouldn't be able to contain myself. Even after a dozen pee sticks - I still did one on the day I went for Beta - I must be out of my mind.

I am sorry sweetie. The roller coaster sucks so much and being on extra hormones never help any situations.

Thanks Rachel.  You are always a ray of sunshine!

Pee sticks just plain freak me out.  They have brought me to my lowest of low and I find it more and more difficult to stomach the repeated negative blow.  If AF is still a no show by tomorrow evening, I will find some courage to face the pee stick!

You are not out of your mind.  We are searching to fullfill our dream.  Nothing crazy about heart and soul type determination. 

How is the adoption option going?  Did you meet the birth mother?  Thinking of you!  Hugs right back at ya!

I know what you mean. Maybe you can call someone to have them with you in case it is a BFFN? You can call me and if you need we can cry together (although I am hoping I can start screaming congrats).

HUGS - it just sucks. I had to deal with my 20 yr old niece getting pg last year as an oops - it hurt a lot. It is just no fair at all.

I feel like she put the slam dunk on me. That's the best way I can describe it. 

Thank you all for getting me through the afternoon with your well wishes and encouragement. I am safe at home now...far from the giddy life is rainbows and butterflies God's will according to the plan my daughter will have a sibling now cannot believe it took one month after removing the iud when are you going to get pregnant pregnancy announcement!

Rough, rough day.  I don't know why people think its a good idea to tell and infertile face to face of their pregnancy. They think that they are being courageous (should they be this aware) by facing you with the news, but really its just a cruel attack. Add God's will and and that is just fighting dirty. Its IMPOSSIBLE to be happy for them in that moment- just send a freaking email if you have tell (but please wait a while!) 

Anyway, hope your pee stick goes well tonight. I will be sending you lots of love.

I'm so sorry you had to deal with such an early pregnancy announcement in light of your cycle being late.  The announcements are never easy, but they are even harder I think when you are just starting to get those feelings of hope.  Keep us posted.  I know I'm never going to be the girl with the miracle, but I always hope that others here are so lucky.
