Wondfo vs FRER sensitivity? Your opinion?

So ladies, what do you think -- which is more sensitive towards picking up HCG? It seems like many women here who've achieved their BFPs have been able to test early... I've seen BFP posts at 9,10, and 11 DPO. Does anyone have an opinion on which one is better for early testing and reading?

  •  I am wary of wondofos now that I've seen some faulty/streaky batches. FRER generally is pretty sensitive. However, I prefer the Dollar Tree's New Choice brand. Easy to read & cheap. :)

  • I just ordered 25 wondfo strips from amazon after reading the online reviews. I plan to confirm with a digital. For the price, you could test with 2 wondfos at a time just to be sure :)

  • I think they're just as sensitive but since they're so cheap I have a hard time completely trusting their results (even though they've never been wrong for me).

Regardless, I have an FRER and a Digi in my cabinet that I would use to back up/confirm a +Wondfo.

  • I thought Wondfos were supposed to be sensitive to 10 miu whereas FRER are 25. I can say that after my m/c, I still got faint positives on Wondfos for 3 days after my hcg was measured at 16. And with my current pregnancy, I got a BFP on a Wondfo at 9dpo, at 11dpo my hcg was 48 and at 13dpo it was 150, so my doubling time would indicate that at 9dpo my hcg would have been below 20. There's no way to know that for sure, though.

I know www.peeonastick.com has a comparison chart somewhere with the sensitivities of different brands (although I don't think Wondfos are included on the list).

  • I got a BFP at 12 DPO on a Wondfo and a FRER (but digi was negative) with a beta of 13.

  • These are helpful replies -- thank you! I am out of wondfo HPTs and it sounds like it would be well worth it to invest in some for more than just financial reasons. I'll have to do more Internet scouring on the issue too.

  • I had faint lines on FR with an HCG of 5 last month. It was barely there on the Wondfo.

  • I found Wondfo's to be really good, I think they gave me a very faint line at 10DPO and it was accurate.  I would always confirm with a digi or a FRER but if you are planning to do lots of tests, then I would stick with Wondfo initially.  Be careful for the knockoffs online, I think these are part of the problem with peoples negative experiences.

  • I got + results on a FRER and a Wondfo at 10 DPO when my beta was only a 7.  The Wondfo was darker, but both were pretty faint.  I did not get a + digital until 14 DPO.
  • They are both pretty sensitive and similar. FRERs have been tested to display a positive with an HCG level as low as 6.5.
