He wants to walk but won't. Should I be concerned.

He stands on his own and cruises everywhere, but my son refuses to take steps.  He is just scared.  When should I start to worry?

Mine isn't walking, either.  They say don't worry until 18 months.  Andrew stands on his own, cruises, and runs around with his walking-push toy, but doesn't take independent steps yet.

My nephew didn't walk until he was just past 17 months. But when he decided he was ready, he went straight to walking across the room. Now that he is six, it's easy to see that's his personality - he waits to do things until he is ready and sure of himself.

I wouldn't worry at all! Sounds like he's getting around pretty well withOut walking. :) If it will make you feel better- call your pedi's office and ask what guidelines they use.

I don't think you should be concerned yet, especially since he's getting around every other way!
