My HR dept is known to mess things up. Im due in the fall and starting my leave from work the first of the month. I will be home over the 12 weeks, knowing that that I will not get paid for all of it.
What exactly needs to get done? THis is what I have been told and want to make sure this is right..
I filled out the FMLA- HR is keeping a copy/ nothing gets mailed out
I filled out a NJ family insurance form that starts once baby is born.
I flled out a NJ temp disablity form that starts once baby is born.
Is this right and also do I fill out a disability form BEFORE she is born to get those 4 weeks prior to the birth ( get it from dr?) and do I fill out a NJ family medical leave in addition to the FMLA?
