Begining the wakeful stage?

B has been such a stinker today! He went down for his usual morning nap at 8, and slept for 2 hrs, as usual, then would not take another nap at all untill now. Hes been so cranky and every time I've tried to put him down for a nap he would flip the F out on me. Is this the beginings of the whole wakeful period?

I am in the same boat. It started last night at our house. I keep telling myself that he is learning new skills and it is exciting.

I wish learning new skills didn't make him a cranky butt. He didn't want to do anything, but fuss.

Yea it's a bit unnerving to not know what they want or not be able to get them to sleep when you KNOW they are tired.

Lincoln has been the same way all week and he's back to waking up every 2 hours at night to eat. SO ready to be done with this!

Not cool. I hope it passes soon. Nothing has made him happy today. I joked with my friend today and said that they need to make baby chloroform. If he would just nap, he'd feel so much better.
