Chicken Salad?

I forgot to ask about this at my appointment today... is chicken salad okay?  Not the kind at the deli, but the pre-packaged kind... Sams Club to be exact!  It's sold in tubs that are sealed, so I am thinking it's okay?  I had heard that eggs were only okay if they were fully cooked, but they told me as long as the eggs are pasteurized then they don't need to be fully cooked... eggs over easy here I come!

I was told not to have eggs over easy so I've been eating scrambled eggs.

There is nothing in egg salad that can be harmful if its fresh.  Unless some one makes it with raw eggs or chicken or is left out for long periods of time.

Okay, thanks... that is what I was thinking!  I just try to be careful with pre-packaged stuff, but the chicken is cooked before it goes into the salad, so I think it's safe, thank you!

Right?!? If you haven't tried Eggs in the Basket at Cracker Barrel you need to, NOW!  They put the egg in the middle of a piece of bread and grill it, then you can have yummy hashbrown casserole on the side.  I know what I am having for dinner tomorrow!
