Tentatively. My Dr. told me that October 15th(39wks 2days) is the date unless the hospital denies it for some reason or I go into labor on my own, in which case they'll do the c/s then. He also said I'll have the anesthesiologist that I have requested(a family friend that I trust very much).

I'm so excited. It's all starting to feel more real & much closer. I am a bit worried however because of the troubles I've had with dissolvable stitches in the past. Hopefully everything will go as well as last time & I won't have any reactions to them.

I am booked for October 25th and I also requested a specific anesthesiologist. I asked them to look up who I had last time b/c he was so amazing. He stayed throughout the whole surgery and was constantly talking to me and telling me what was happening. I felt to at ease having him there.

They said he still works in the labor unit but is no longer an anesthesiologist. However they said that as long as he is not on vacation that it shouldn't be an issue to have him step in for my surgery. They said he will actually be really excited to hear someone requested him!

In town where I live there are 3 full time anesthesiologists. I know 2 of them, they are a married couple that are members of my church & I went to school with their daughters & I feel so comfortable with them, especially the wife(so i requested her).

Last time my c-section was unscheduled & I ended up with the one that I didn't know. He was fine, but if I can have a say in it, I'd prefer one I know.
