Hey, I thought of a section that hasn't been covered and really wasn't when my DS was diagnosed as a baby--Torticollis and Plagiocephaly.
I was lucky in that someone spotted my first panicked posts when Aaron was 2 months old and directed me to Babycenter and the Yahoo Plagiocephaly group. And while those sites have a more active membership, I primarily posted on the Bump and felt alone dealing with PT and then two DOC Band Helmets for severe brachycephaly.
Is this something that would be a good thing to add?
Re: Suggestion for FAQs
Can you guys suggest some "questionettes" to go in the FAQ? (See the other FAQ's)
I am not well versed enough in this topic and do not know all the vocabulary......
We are doing another FAQ round on Friday that will deal with vision issues, hearing issues and this topic.....
Okay, here is what I've come up with and I "borrowed" a bit from plagiocephaly websites. I think it needs more and I wasn't sure how to go with Torticollis but hopefully it makes sense.
My child has a flat spot and I am concerned.
With repositioning, won't the head correct on its own?
If you decided to helmet, what type did you get and how long did your LO wear one?
My child's head tilts to one side and I think my child has Torticollis. What should I do now?
When did your LO start physical therapy for Torticollis? How often did you go? How long did the PT last?
