TTC after 35

Flying blind this month

Terrible attitude this month.  I took Femara from day 3 - 7 and was scheduled to do an u/s last Thursday.  Got a call the day before from my OBGYN and was told that I needed a repeat mammogram.  Lovely.

Decided to scrap the IUI this month - didn't want to introduce more hormones, plus my ovulation was taking forever.  I took tests starting on CD12 and ran out of the freaking tests the night before vacation.  Didn't even get another box because we stayed in the same room as my stepdaughter - no point in knowing.

So now I have no idea when or even if I ovulated.  Not sure how I feel about this - maybe it'll be nice to have some mystery...

ETA: I guess there was no real point to this post.  I just needed to vent to the universe.  I guess this was a bit of rebellion on my part by not participating in the mind games that my body is playing.

  • I hope your repeat mammo goes well, I think you made the right choice putting it off until you get tested again..

  • This is clearly not your month. Not having to think about it can be good, if you can manage it.

I hope the repeat mammogram is ok.

  • Vent away - more testing, confusing body signals and poor timing can each be frustrating, never mind all together. I hope the mammo. goes well.
