I personally would not buy off of etsy.  I would go with a brand name.  The item you are looking at is already $49.  I am sure that you can find a used brand name carrier for that amount (maybe a little more).

I like that company- I have one of her gauze wraps and a ring sling she made. However, I wouldn't buy that. I have no idea of the wrapping qualities of that fabric. I would bite the bullet and buy a commercial woven if you know you are into wrapping.

If money is an issue, I would buy off of the For sale or trade forum on thebabywearer.com (you have to register, but it's free to use). You would be able to get something for cheaper than new and the wraps are most often broken in (new ones aren't often snuggly right out of the box).
