1 hr 15 min

I swear, that is the longest nap I have gotten DD to take in the last few weeks. it's like a little timer that goes off in her brain. I realize that some people would be happy if their child slept that long, but what annoys me is that she is still wanting to nap every 2 hours. she is like passing out at 2 hours... so i want her to just take a freaking longer nap and then she can stay up longer! i am done with 3 naps a day!!!

  • She must be super busy when awake so she's a tired bebe after :)

She probably won't need the 3 naps much longer. Then you'll have to chase her around the house and hope she'll go down for a nap soon Stick out tongue

  • I love having 3 naps, that is 3 times a day I can try to accomplish something without stopping every few minutes to do something for DS.
  • If it makes you feel any better, my DD sleeps between 45 minutes and 3 hours and either way she is still ready for another nap exactly 2 hours after she wakes up.  And this is after she sleeps 13 hours (with a few snacks) at night.  Hang in there.  I have pretty much assigned myself activities to do while she sleeps.  In the morning before the day starts, I get to bump and screw around online, morning nap is for shower and chores, afternoon nap is mostly for reading, cleaning the kitchen or fun stuff, and the short late afternoon nap is for dinner prep.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

I really like that you have a routine like that... i have been thinking that I need to do that because I feel so aimless during the day. i really do enjoy that she sleeps a lot, I don't want to wish myself into another stage so I have to learn how to handle it right now :)
