IFV Check-In

I know Worms has not had internet access, so hope no one minds if I get our check-in going again til she's back. (Worms...hope you are home resting and that everything is going well with your little wormies!!!)

I think she was posting this on Wednesdays...I won't have easy computer access in the morning, so I'll post it tonight, and then if Worms isn't back online next week, will post next week's check-in on Wednesday!

This is a check-in for ladies who have been around the IF block for a while and were active posters on Infertility Veterans.

Lots of m/s, nausea, food aversions, and exhaustion. I feel fully initiated now! I have my first OB appt. Monday, and I'm very nervous but hopeful.

I am glad you posted this!

No big updates - 17 weeks this week.  Getting close to where I was when I had the twins so I am having some anxiety around that.  Anatomy scan is a week from tomorrow.  Looking forward to seeing baby boy again.

 

QOTW:  It isn't crazy but I went through a phase around 12 weeks were all I wanted was refried beans for dinner every night.  It lasted for like 10 days. They though DH was crazy at the restaraunt.

Q'sOTW: How are you feeling? Any big appts coming up? What's been your craziest food craving so far?

 Feeling okay. Definitely starting to get more uncomfortable...can't seem to sleep for more than an hour without waking up because my hips hurt. But it's all made worth it by the fact that I can see her moving in my stomach. I have been enthralled with watching my stomach every chance I get. 

Have my 3 hr glucose test in the morning. Crossing my fingers that all goes well. I can totally handle cutting back on sugar, but really don't want to deal with finger pricks and counting carbs. I suck at diets!

I was interested to see what's other's cravings have been because I really haven't had any...other than for a margarita!!!

Sending you lots of hugs to help you get through the next couple weeks. I hope they sail by smoothly and very quickly for you! Have fun at your a/s tomorrow. I loved that appt since it was much longer than a normal u/s...lots of time for you to stare at your LO!

I'm 10w5d right now - continuing to have some spotting.  I'm not freaked out about it, because the OB said to expect some more, but I wish it would stop already.

Tomorrow evening (Thursday) is my last night for PIO and delestrogen injections.  I'm so excited, and told my husband 9pm will never seem the same again

Next Friday, the 10th I have my NT scan.  Looking forward to that, because at the 10w u/s we could see arms and legs moving around, and it made me laugh and cry at the same time.  Can't wait to see the little guy again (I keep calling the baby "little guy" which probably means it will be a girl )

I have a overwhelming craving for McDonald's cheeseburgers.  I've only given in a few times, but it amazes me how strong the craving is.

Feeling OK, sleeping like crap!

I have a 28w u/s with MFM next Thursday that I'm looking forward too. Also my GTT is next Thursday.

I haven't really had any crazy cravings aside from maybe spicy food. Unfortunately with this awful acid reflux I've had to cut back!

I have a lot of appts, bc i was dx-ed with gd.  So, i'm busy with that.  Otherwise feeling good!

I'm actually starting to get upset over weight gain, trying to let that go!

I have really craved cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been having a ton of food adversions! Smells really get to me too. I have nausea on/off and got sick for the first time the other day.

I have my first OB appt for an intake on Friday. I had an u/s with the RE yesterday and both were measuring 7w2d with hbs of 147 each.

How are you feeling? I'm starting to feel excited and not as worrisome.  Still worried, just not terrified.  As I'm heading towards the third trimester, exhaustion is starting to creep back in...

Any big appts coming up? I just had a growth scan at 24 weeks - baby girl looked great Next growth scan is August 17...can't wait to see my little girl again!

What's been your craziest food craving so far?  The only constant cravings I've had throughout my pregnancy are for sour cream and mayo (not together!!)  So I've been craving foods that I can put those on!!

I'm feeling pretty great.  Still nauseous and getting sick a few times a week, and having lots of headaches.  But overall, can't complain

I had a regular appt on Monday, and will have my second shot at an a/s on the 13th.  Excited to see baby girl again!  I need to schedule my GTT, boo.

Can't really say I've had any crazy cravings. Fruit has been the one consistent thing I've wanted non stop, other cravings have just come and gone.

I am 36 weeks 5 days!

I am doing alright. I am very uncomfortable, my feet are HUGELY swollen and I am not sleeping well.

I have an ultrasound on Monday to see how big he is. I am measuring 38 weeks and have gained 61 pounds so far...other than that, i am plugging along.

Craving -- cream cheese on a lot of things.
