I saw your post in PgAL and wanted to respond and make sure you saw it. I have had IBS my entire life. At times it has been fairly debilitating, keeping me from doing things and going places. My IBS also was the runs version and at times I would have such bad pain I couldn't stand up straight. I had a bunch of tests, colonoscopy included, and they never could find anything wrong with me. I took a bunch of different medicines, none of which really helped. For me pg made my symptoms practically disappear. I still have occasional bouts but nothing like I had before. For me it's a life-long condition that I have learned to manage and deal with but not something that kept me from eventually having a healthy pg. I hope you can find something that makes you feel better. Mine was also made worse by stress so I tried yoga and relaxation techniques but none of that crap really helped. GL and I wish you much success with getting it under control and TTC again!

Thanks! It has been a crazy last year and I agree that it can be quite debilitating. I also experience the pain where I can't stand up straight and it sucks. I hate that people go through this and can't really find anything to help. I'm glad that pg helped your symptoms and that you're doing good now. I'm really hoping that will be the case for me too. I know that I'm going to have to learn to live with it but that thought depresses me too.
Since the yoga and relaxation techniques didn't work, did you find any other way of relieving stress?
I just posted on TTCAL but I think we're aiming to start TTC again in October.

Thanks! I will for sure PM you if I have any questions. For now, I'm trying the therapy and fibre drink and maybe yoga. I definitely thought about kickboxing but feel I'm too out of shape for that right now. I'm going to start with walks. I know exercise is supposed to help but I'm so dang lazy.
Thank you for giving me hope that I will one day have this under a bit more control.
