  • I really like Thomas, Duncan, Leah, Helen, Sylvie, and Felicity. The others are nms. Great names and congrats on TTC!
  • I like Thomas or Alexander for a boy and Elizabeth (I prefer the z spelling) for a girl.

    Boys:

    Thomas and Alexander are nice.

Ridley makes me think of Ripley which is Sigourney Weaver's character in Aliens.

Shae is very feminine to me.

    I hate Duncan.

    Girls:

I'm partial to Elizabeth, but it's nice with an s too.

I LOVE Helen. If we were having another girl, I'd push for it.

    Sylvie is cute, but NMS.

    Leah is okay.

    I strongly dislike Felicity.

Ridley- Eh. its ok. Sounds kind of like a made up name

    Thomas - great MN option

    Shae - dislike.

    Duncan - super cute!

    Alexander - Ok

    GIRLS

    Leah- cute, although super popular

    Elisabeth- dislike

Helen- dislike. This is my grandma's name and I love her dearly its just sounds so old to me. From this board though I've come across Helene which I find pretty and a great way to possibly honor my grandma...so I say I like Helene more

    Sylvie- cute

    Felicity- NMS

  • I love the feedback, thanks everybody! I do love Thomas and would like to use it as a first name, my only reservation is that my in-laws, who's names are Thomas and Andree refer to our future children as "Tommy" and "Awny" (Awny is a nickname they for Andree that they use) as if they assume we will name our children after them. They are usually teasing when they say this but it really grinds my gears. Ridley is for sure an out there name, but it is a legit name. There is a prestigious boarding school in my town called Ridley College, so my reservation for using that name would be that people will think we are being pretentious and naming our child after this fancy school. Thanks again everybody for the great feedback!
  • Really like Duncan, Sylvie, and Leah!
