January 2013 Moms

And I made it...

to the gym. Finally!!! I have been so bad about moving during this pregnancy besides walks with the kids, which havent been many with the temps so high lately. It felt good - even though it was just a power walk on the treadmill. Hopefully I can keep it going. How is everyone else doing with moving?

  • That's awesome! My husband has been on a big weight-loss kick lately so I've been working out with him when I can... except I can't really keep up with him on jogs anymore, so he has to loop around & come back for me. LOL

  • Horrible. I know I need to get moving & want to now that I have my energy back. It's been in the 100's here almost everyday so going jogging with ds is out if the question. My only option until it cools off is to start getting up at 5 am.

    I ran a half marathon at 5 weeks, but since 6 weeks my ms has been so horrible I haven't run at all! It has been slightly better this week, so I had plans to run this morning and of course it poured raining! Ugh! Tomorrow hopefully. 

  • That's great! My only exercise lately has been chasing DS. I keep promising myself that I will at least do yoga 3 times per week. Maybe this week.

    I did a half at 5 weeks too! I've only run twice since then - hoping to get back into it once it cools off a bit.  

  • I've been much better in 2nd Tri.  I think I only went to the gym once in 1st Tri (but I might be making that up).  If my headache goes away soon I want to get in a workout this morning.
