19 days to go NO name

So my hubby and I are stuck! We have a name that we like, but aren't telling anyone yet. We are telling them we don't have a girls name just because I am so wishy washy that I will probably change my mind in a week anyways. The name is Zeta Mae. I am a twin and I gave her a list of names that are in the running for her name and She told me that she hated Zeta because it reminds her of the greek alphabet (which is why my hubby likes it in the first place) (frat boy...lol..) If it wasn't for that name we wouldn't have a name. The more I say it the more I don't like it but I really don't think we have any other options. Our other daughter her name is Shae and I am just not sure they go together. Can I get some opinions on what you think of the name>?

I am not crazy about Zeta. How about a traditional older name that is similar, like Zula? That was my husbands grandmothers name, Zula Mae. Just a thought.

I like it because it is different. There aren't too many z names. I think it goes fine with Shae.

 If I were to have a girl I would name her Dahlia Anita.

If you want a Greek name maybe Athena or Electra?

If I wanted a greek name I'd pick Calista which means most beautiful. Cali as a nn.

I don't know about Zeta, until you said greek alphabet I was saying it like Etta with a z in front of it.

The only advice I can give you with this is to not name your child a name that you are not 100% completely in love with. Trust me, you will have regrets.

Also, another peice of advice would be to wipe the slate clean and go through a name website or book and start a brand new list TOGETHER with your DH. Names that you or your DH marked off before may sound better the second time around.

Zeta reminds me of Zelda which reminds me of that little lady from the movie Poltergeist.

Sorry but I don't like Zeta at all.. its not pretty in the least to me. How about Arden, Wren, Tess, Thea, Vera, Maeve, Isla, Zoe, Zara guessing you like shorter names

I was going to say that its nms, but it wasn't horrible.

Then I read everyone else's responses and I like their suggestions a lot better.

I'm not a fan of the name Zeta. If you are not completely sure about the name, I say try and come up with new names both you and your husband agree on! There are always options, what other names are on your list?
