I just finished my first month of hip hop abs by shawn t. I'm only able to workout 4 days a week so it took me about 6 weeks to complete instead of 4. All in All I thought it was a great workout for those that feel completely satisfied with their body except their midsection. When I first had my baby I lost 38 pounds in water weight but still had to burn 38 pounds and my abs were no where to be found:) It's been a long process but I finally feel I'm getting back to normal. This workout has helped my abs start the toning process. I couldn't do much as far ab work until about a couple months ago because I had pelvic pain so bad.
Shawn T is very motivating and the music was more on the "pop" side which I liked. What I must stress is that you really understand the "tilt, tuck, tighten" method and do it during all the workouts. Without it you will loose the effect. It's amazing to me how much I toned my mid-section without even doing crunches. The program consists of: fat burning cardio, ab sculpting, hips/buns/thighs, and total body burning. But even if you are working on hips/buns/thighs he still finds ways for you to work your midsection. I would highly recommend this workout for anyone, but realize that you must incorporate eating right and don't expect overnight results.
I never take my measurements, but instead track my progress with photos and want to share my photos of before starting the program and the after photos as well. I still got some work to do, but excited to see its already working and know if I keep it up, I will get my midsection back:)
