What caused it? I had an "omg" moment last night and got sent to the ER because I was bleeding and cramping (I'm 12 weeks). Turned out that everything was fine, and the ER doctor said that one of the placentas (twins), while burrowing into my uterine wall, ate through a blood vessel. Unless I'm confused, I believe it's called a "subchorionic bleed".
Has anyone else experienced this or other bleeding/cramping incidents, and ended up being fine? I'm told bleeding isn't exactly uncommon, but I'm still a little rattled.

Here we go again...
Due 8/26/19!
I had some spotting (never enough to even hit my panties - only when I wiped) and it varried from brown/maroon/pink/a little bit of red... It first started after intimacy. I called the Dr. the next day and they said its normal but I had my betas checked and they doubled. U/s a week later and there was a heart beat!
Bleeding lasted a day and a half - went away, came back for another day and a half then was gone for good. It might have come back because I was so frantically trying to see if it stopped I may have re-irritated my cervix haha...
I hate how statistics show higher likliness with bleeding but not all bleeding is the same so it is so hard to take that into consideration when you look at statistics vs. reality.
