Coming up with a third boy name has been difficult. We "like" a lot of names, but none is the obvious frontrunner. I think we both like Louis though. We already have a Max and Simon. Thanks!

I like it, but spelled Lewis. I want to pronounce Louis as Loo-ee, but I'm guessing you'd want it pronounced Loo-is.

That was my grandpa's name and it was spelled exactly like that.

That's my dad's name (spelling and all)! The name seems to have served him well. He was "Louie" as a kid, "Louis" to his parents, and "Lou" at his job and in professional settings. He seems to like it!

My good friend has a son Louis, but it's spelled that way to honor our hometown (st. louis) and she doesn't live here.Lewis is cute too.

Love! And I definitely prefer the Louis spelling to Lewis. Lewis is a last name to me.

My dad is named Lewis. He has said that he doesn't like his name.

I do have a teenaged student named Louis. It suits him well and he seems to like his name. His name is said just like my dad's (not Lou-ie).

Thanks for your feedback ladies! I do tend to think of Louis and Lewis as two different names, and I only would consider Louis, for whatever reason I don't know. I appreciate it!
