Julia?

Timeless and elegant or dated? I've gotten some mixed reviews about this name from friends and family. Some say it's timeless and others say they picture a middle aged woman and that they can't picture it on a child. I've always thought it was a timeless name, but now I'm not so sure. So, what do you think?

The "middle aged woman" comment might have to do with Julia Child?

Remember, your LO will be a middle aged woman longer than she'll be a child anyway! :-)

I think Julia is a good name - I can picture a baby, kid, teen, adult, and old lady with this name. Nice pick.

You could always call her Julie as a child. I knew a little girl named Julie, she was 6 and it fit her fine.

Definitely timeless and elegant. 'Middle aged women' names, to me, are names like Sharon, Linda, Nancy, etc.

Haha It's definitely not my style, but first thing that comes to mind is The Wedding Singer and Julia Gulia. I could see it as a kid name or an adult name though.
