Almost 39 weeks and no girl's name!

Hi Ladies, we are on 'team green' and have our boys name locked but no girl name.  DH and I both have names we like but haven't met in the middle yet and are running out of time...

DD1 is Leigha (pronounced Leah) Elizabeth

For a Girl name I like Colleen Marie (Coleen is my middle name) but DH does not like Colleen for a first name.  His pick is Sarah Colleen.  I do like Sarah but am concerned aobut Leigha and Sarah both ending in 'a' and sounding matchy.  Ugg... why is this so hard???

    We were just the opposite!  We had girls names all set to go and had no boys names!  I actually like Leigha and Sarah!  If you like it go for it!  Good luck!

    I do not think the names are too matchy just because of the ending sound.  Very pretty.

    Thanks Ladies, I' sure we'll get ourselves sorted this week but we need to decide!

    qteepie42899  our boy's name is Matthew - very traditional but we both like it and I am OK with Matt as a nn as well.

    most girl names end in "a"  so look for a name that doesn't end in "a"  if it bugs you... also I dont think they sound too matchy either JMO

    My LO's name ends in -a and I don't like how other -a names sound with it, so I am with you on that one.

    If your DH doesn't like Colleen, how about Colette?  It's one of my favs right now!

    I think Leigha and Sarah are nice together.  I do love Colleen though and like pp's suggestion of Colette.
