Boy names are hard!!

DH and I cannot agree on anything when it comes to boy names.  We are team green so we have to come up with both names.  We already have 2 DDs so both of us are sort of hoping we are having a boy this time (as is the rest of everyone we know, lol).  He likes Hebrew or biblical names.  I don't mind them, but am terrible with associating names with people I know or have met at some point in my life.  I don't like any names that are too typically "out there" and all the OK names are just too common. 

I do like classic names that are common, but not over used and not in the top 10.

Any suggestions?

So far on our list  are:

Benjamin (We both like but I have an ex who's son is named this and our last name starts with an S so initials would be BS)

Bruce (same with the initals, but has some family signifigance, but not my fav name in the world.)

Evan (rhymes with Kevin which is DH's boss and close friend of ours, See I told you I'm weird about associations)

Felix

Jeremiah (DH loves, I hate)

Jonah

Luke (another DH loves, I hate)

 

 

Owen

Peter  (another DH loves, I hate)

Travis

I like Benjamin, Evan, Jonah, Luke (although if you hate it, it should be out anyway).  I also know a Travis who is really great- it isn't my favorite name, but the association makes me like it more.  The others are NMS.

I like Benjamin the best on your list.  Although my dad's name is Bruce and I love him....I would never name my son this.  hehehe.  If there are names you hate then I wouldn't even put them on the list.  :-)

Brennan - Considered this with DD1 (team green then too) but always got frustrated with people asking if it was Brandon

Zachariah - Close friend's son's name

Eli - same as above

Nicholas - not too bad.

I like Benjamin, Felix, and Jonah.  I'm not a fan of Bruce at all, or Peter or Travis.

Sorry it's so long. That's the list my fiance gave me for boys.... and we still don't know what we're having. (still in my first trimester xD)  I've always liked.. Zion, and Micah. But I like a few other names that aren't in the bible (Ki'mani... & ...Joaquin) But yea that list is all from the bible. I double checked :] Hope it helps.
