Has anyone given their LO Tylenol an hour or so before getting their shot(s)?
My mom said she used to do this with us to help eliminate the chance of getting a fever or not feeling well after getting a shot. I have no problem listening to my mom's advice, as she was/is an incredible mother, but I was just curious if anyone else heard of this or does it.
Thanks!

Re: Tylenol before a shot?
This is not true. But, OP, PP was correct in that you should not administer tylenol until after the shots, and only if LO needs it.
I've been told to give it as needed afterwards.
With DS1, I only did if he was uncomfortable, fussy.
This is true according to my pedi.
Not to be a lurker, but are you sure your pedi wasn't talking about motrin? My pedi suggested tylenol after LO's first vaccine and gave me the conversion chart and everything.
