Appt for bad m/s revealed Twins!

I've had horrible m/s all day/night long since week 5!  With my 1st child it was bad as well, but didn't start until the 8th week.  Anyway, my husband and I went to the doctor last week to make sure I was okay and not too dehydrated and the midwife found twins on the ultrasound!  She said that that is probably why it is worse this time around and started so early, cause twins dramatically increase your hormones.

We're definitely excited, but we need a bigger car!  And house!  lol.

    It doesnt mean its worse because it was twins.  I know 2 people that are having twins that never had m/s at all... but Congrats!!!!!!!!!

    Congratulations!  I'm hoping this is the case with me as well.  Four successful pregnancies and never any m/s, but I am on the couch pretty much 24/7 this pg since 6w.  How exciting for you!!

    Congrats to you! And of course your ms is worse - I don't know why PP said it wouldn't be! Mine was really bad too and started getting better around week 11. My RE said it peaks weeks 8-10 though. Hang in there and I hope you feel better soon!

    Exactly.  You have double the hormones.  I seriously thought I was gonna die in forst tri and lost 21 lbs.  Hang in there!
