We JUST got back from South Padre on Saturday. Actually, flew into CC and my parents picked us up and we drove to SP for a few days.

Ypu onow ive live in Corpus for about 20 years and have never been to south padre.

I really love banana pudding too.

I make it with Jello brand vanilla pudding, but I add more too that.
I've only tried making pudding from scratch once, and it was a nightmare, but I also didn't have the right ingredients, because we were plagued with food allergies then.

I'm almost ready to try again, but until then, my banana pudding consists of a secret combination of Jello brand vanilla pudding, sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese, whipped topping, vanilla wafers, and slices of banana.
With whipped cream on top.

My mom makes the best banana pudding.  She makes everything from scratch, including the whipped cream.  After I gave birth to DD, and hadn't eaten anything for over 24 hours, I made her promise to go home and make me my very own banana pudding.  It was glorious.

My MIL made me brownies.  I completely gorged myself.  lol
