Samsung Galaxy II or iPhone 4?

I'm going to be upgrading from my LG Optimus & am trying to decide between the Samsung Galaxy II & the iPhone 4.  They are the same price.

What phone would you choose?

    I'm on my third Samsung phone. They all eventually suck so bad. Each one has lasted around six months before making me furious every time I use it.

    I am no help at all to you!!  I am torn between the Droid world vs the iPhone world too!!!  Razr or iPhone?  Didn't mean to jump into your thread!!!

    I don't have any experience with Samsung phones, but I LOVE my iPhone. I had a 3G and then upgraded to the 4G. No problems with either of them.

    I would wait til October when the IPhone 5 comes out if you can. If not go with the IPhone 4. You won't regret going with the iPhone.

    I am getting a new phone now as well. I am going to wait until DH gets iphones at the store before I really decide but I will probably going with the Galaxy 3 instead of waiting for the iphone5. DH can't find a complaint with the samsungs but apple is annoying him before they even have phone in the store. He pushed the galaxy 2 on me once it came out but I just bought a cheap phone until my contract was ready for an upgrade.

    TBH, despite the poll results I'm still leaning towards the Galaxy.  Bigger screen, higher megapixel camera, 4G capability, more memory capacity with SD card...  Also, I've never owned an iAnything.  What's so great about it?

    I'm not really interested in waiting for the iPhone 5, especially since I'm not sold on the iPhone in general & it will probably be more expensive.  Currently, through Sprint, I can get TWO Galaxies for $99 (would sell on craiglist or give one to a relative) or one iPhone 4 for $99.
