Hypothetical name help

DH and I are starting to toss around the idea of trying for #2 but are leaning more towards waiting until the winter.  Finding a name for our LO was actually quite difficult the first time around, but we finally decided on Zachary Brian < Lastname>

If we have a girl the middle name will definitely be Laura, after my MIL, who is deceased.  Below are the short list DH and I came up with:

Emily Laura

Elizabeth Laura

Katherine Laura

Ashley Laura

If we have another boy the middle name will most likely be Daniel, which is DH's middle name.  The only suggestions that DH didn't hate and totally shoot down were:

Jacob Daniel

Wesley Daniel

What say Baby Names peeps?  Feel free to offer other suggestions or add a tl'dr

I vote for Elizabeth Laura (lots of great nn for Elizabeth) and Wesley Daniel.

No bad ones on the list.

I like Wesley for the boys. I'd ditch Ashley on the girl side (Ashley Laura=Laura Ashley).

Thank you for proving something for me!  Ashley was a name DH wanted to put in the running, and I had the same immediate association that you did.

Your girl name choices are really NMS- they seem extremely boring and over used, but I know some would say they are classic. I would also agree to throw out Ashley and if I had to pick one I would also go with Elizabeth because of all the different NN possibilities. I like both of your boys names. Although Jacob is supposedly the top boys name on the SSA list in 2010, I do not know any little Jacobs IRL. Wesley Daniel is great too!

From you girls list I vote Katherine or Emily in that order. 

I like both of your boy picks, but I would pick Wesley. Jacob Daniel makes me think of Jack Daniels for some reason. Otherwise I really like it. Maybe it's just me o_O
