AW: Update to our first u/s

I updated my original post but I don't think anyone saw it and it's already on page 2 but I really want to share my good news with everyone Big Smile - I know it's being totally AWish Embarrassed . But I also wanted to thank you ladies again for your T&P's, they meant the world to me knowing you were cheering me on as I walked into that room.

So we have a beautiful 143 bpm heartbeat!!!!! Baby measured pretty much right on track at 6w3d, sac measured 6w4d.

I told the u/s tech at the beginning that the baby would probably only be 6w4d, not 7w1d like what my LMP calculation would be & he laughed when he took the measurements and said you're right!! He was really good. He tried to get us to hear the baby's heartbeat but it wasn't quite loud enough to come up on the machine & he said it was still early. When they called DH to come in I thought he was going to burst out crying or have a panic attack he looked SO nervous but as soon as I saw him I told him everything was okay.

We also finally spilled the beans to my parents this weekend! Oh what a relief that was. I could never be a professional liar lol what a lot of work! They're super excited of course. Next we have to tell DH's parents, hoping to do that this week sometime.
