Breckin?

Since Beckett is becoming a bit too popular for my brothers taste, how do you feel about Breckin? He loves it. What middle name would you choose? He and his wife are thinking Breckin Marshall. 

 

Siblings are Lyric Alyse, Lennox Avery and Conrad Brandt

Marshall is a great name. 

All of this.  Marshall Breckin is waaaay better imo.

I really don't like Breckin. I know someone named Breken, and I just can't get past his name and I've known him for 10 years. He's almost 30, and to me, it's just not a serious, professional, manly name.

Other suggestions: Benedict, Brooks, Brock, Bryant, Boston, Beckham, Benton... Of these I only really like Benedict, the rest are nms but they're a lot better than Breckin.

I guess I'll be the odd one out here because I love Breckin.  I've always been a fan of the actor Breckin Meyer, though, so I've liked the name for years.  I think Breckin Marshall sounds great!

I prefer the Brecken spelling instead. I like it, although I crossed it off our list because it does remind me of shampoo, Breckin Meyer, and Breckenridge. Also breaking things in general- one poster a few months ago wrote "Breckin the law" and now that is all I can think of when I hear it. I think if you guys really like it, then go for it!

Hmmmm... I don't hate it. I think of Breckin Meyer.  It sounds like a surfer name to me.  It is NMS, but I can see how it fits with your naming style.

Have you considered the name Brock?  I think i is a little more masculine and solid than Breckin but has the same feel.  I also think Bennett is great and isn't really that popular.  I have actually never met a Bennett IRL, I just see it a lot on TB.

I seriously JUST met a little boy with this name last night.  When I was told his name, it threw me off a lot, and I had to repeat it a couple times. After that, though, it was just another little baby boy.  If it works for you, use it.
