Really stuck with baby names.....help!

So I am starting to get really frustrated with the baby naming process. My dh and I don't agree on an boy names.  He's very particular about what his boy will be called but doesn't really have a style to what he likes.  I want something that is somewhat unique.  I don't want anything too crazy but I don't want him to have a bunch of other kids in his class with the same name.  The closest we've come to agreeing are with Payson, Jackson, Beckett, and Cooper. Our last name also makes it difficult. It's Oss (pronounced awe-ss)  It is short and different and hard to match with first names.  Please help! I'd love to hear suggestions that you might think we could agree on and sound great with our last name. Thanks!!

Yes, exactly what you said is the problem. I want unique but we don't agree on anything unique. Ugh!

I really like the name Cooper.  My sister is naming her baby Beckett and it's really starting to grow on me!

Payson is different and a very nice boy name.

The only name I like is Cooper. Jackson is way to popular, and Payson sounds like the new -aden name (Payson, Grayson, Mason, etc.). Too trendy.

I like Jackson, but it is far from unique. Hate Payson- agree that it seems like the new -Aden (Jason, Mason, Cason, etc). Cooper and Beckett fall into the very popular 'pick a random WASP-y surname' trend. MJ has a link for the 'beyond the to 1000' list in her siggy that I would check out- lots of misspellings of popular names to sort through in there, but some great underused and unusual names as well.
