You could do Geoffery, I have always liked this name. It will reflect your hubbys but be DS's own... I mostly like it because of the short version Geof
Proud babywearing, breastfeeding, vaccinating SAHM of 2U2!
The only reason I kind of like it is bc your DH is Jeffrey, so it actually makes sense, unlike a lot of last names as first names. However... It still sounds like a butler to me.
I like it- the "son" at the end usually means "son of" - DH is Andrew and we thought about Anderson for a boy which means son of Andrew. I like it, different and unique without being too weird in my opinion!
I side eye straight up last names for first names when they're not family names. If Jefferson was your maiden name, I'd vote yes. But just for the hell of it? Nah. Name him Jeffrey if you want to continue the Jeff tradition.

Re: Jefferson
I think Jefferson is great...
...as a last name.
1/12/13 DD was born
4/9/16 DS was born
9/17 CP
6/23/18 BFP EDD 3/4/19
Baby Girl Lennon born sleeping 6-18-11 Baby Boy Anderson born healthy and happy 8-17-12
I agree. But I do like the idea of using it as a middle name.
