My boy name list (opinions?)

I'm pretty sure you ladies like reading lists and giving opinions. My list is still SO large... and it's driving me crazy. I think whenever DH repeats that he likes one over and over, I just start liking it less and less. It's annoying... I don't know why I do it! LOL. Anyway, here are our names (in no particular order)

I should also say that we have a 2-syllable last name, starting with L, and his sister is named Tahlia (it's Hebrew, but we don't necessarily need a Hebrew name)

I like most of the names well enough. The only ones I really don't like are Blaine, Rylan, and Easton. Kieran and Kent aren't really my cup of tea, either.

My favorites are Bennett and Julian, I think.

Thank you! We love it too - we got some crap about it at first because people didn't know how to say it, but now we only get nice comments.

And thanks for the input so far everyone!!! Boy names are so much harder than girls.

My favorite from your list is Julian. I also like Rowan, Kieran, Joel and Noah. Bennett and Blake are okay too.

I really like Bennett, Julian, and Rowan. Noah is also nice, though very popular.

I like Julian with Tahlia because they are both soft and don't have unavoidable nns, but the -lia letter pattern may make them too similar. If that similarity bothers you, I'd go with Rowan (also soft).

The only one I really don't like is Rylan. Too modern/unisex/smooshy/unsophisticated.

With Tahlia I love: Julian, Joel, Shane, and Noah. I just like: Blake and Rowan. Dislike: Blaine, Kent, and Kieran. With Tahlia I really dislike: Bennett, Easton, and Rylan...way too trendy. My favorite is Julian! Tahlia and Julian sounds like a wonderful sibset to me!

I like Rylan and Easton. Do like my hubs and I we drafted our top list, then numbered it 1-10 with 1 being our favorite and kept knocking out the lowest rating name until we got to our fave his first pick and my second pick ended up being the #1.

Like - Joel, Noah, Kent.

Dislike - Julian, Rowan (both too fem sounding), Blaine (just a bad association for me), Rylan (sounds made up?), Easton.

Shane makes me think of The Walking Dead.

I know I am in the minority but I have only ever known one Rowan and it was a woman. I worked with her everyday for 6 years so the name Rowan makes me think of a woman.

BTW, is it an exclusively Jewish name? I'd love to use it, but we are nowhere near Jewish, and wondering whether that would be weird. (Sorry to hijack your name post!)
