Jameson...?

I've got the itch for number two. What do you think of Jameson for a boy? And less importantly, what do you think of Jameson Lee?

 My hubby's middle name is Jameson. Lee is a family name on my side. Our last name starts with A and is two syllables. Of course, he would be called James 90% of the time. We also have a son named Dean Michael.

I had a friend named Jameson back in high school & have always liked the name - I never made the association to either a beer or a porn star, & frankly don't care. I'm sure you could find someone/something unsavory for any name.

I have ALWAYS loved Jameson. I've had a friend with this name since before I was old enough to know about either whiskey or porn, but sadly DH can't get past those associations. I still think it's a solid name,

Whiskey is the first thing that comes to mind and I honestly think it sounds trashy.  I love the name James though.

I love Jameson. I have a cousin with that name so whiskey is not my first association.

So even though whiskey comes to mind.  I don't think it's a bad association.  It's a bad@ss whiskey   I like the name.

Just a heads up: You'll have a James and a Dean.  Not only was James Dean an icon from the past, there's also the meat company of Jimmy Dean. Though the names are great, I don't know how comfortable you would be with these associations.

I immediately think of alcohol. I really don't like Jameson even though it's YH's MN, I think just James is WAY better... but then you have sons named James Dean.

Thank You everyone for the input. I'm ok with the whiskey association, its more the Jenna Jameson think that bothers me. I really love James so maybe that's a better option. Thanks for bringing the James Dean association to my attention.

I love Jameson, nn Jamie.   It was one of my top names, but I dont think I can get past the porn star connection.   The whiskey dosent bother me, though.
