My DS is super tall and size 3 months onesies are already getting short on him (even carters which runs tall and thin, IMO)...so at how many weeks did your LO switch to a bigger size? I know it doesn't really matter, I am just curious![Poll]
DD is in the 99th percentile for height, and I think Osh Kosh fits her the best. And the Target Brand (Circo...I think) seem to be on the larger/longer side. Carter's are kind of a stretch, but they still get the job done. Gerber onesies are the shortest IMO.
My LO is 8 weeks today. He started fitting in 3-6 months comfortably at 7 weeks. He no longer fits in 3 months. He is wearing a 9 month onesie at the moment.
He is about 12 pounds and 24 inches...I also wash all of his clothes before he wears them and I believe there is a significant amount of shrinkage.
DD has been above the 95th percentile for height and weight for awhile. She was in 3-6 and 6 month clothing around 3 1/2-4 weeks old. She is just now starting to grow out of her 3-6/6m clothing and fits into some of her 6-9/9m stuff
Circo, Osh Kosh, and Carters all fit well. Also I have gotten onesie extenders for her from etsy...
My DD is 12 weeks and nowhere close to fitting 3-6mo clothes (even in cloth diapers!), BUT I find that Carter's does run long and thin, and like PPs said Target's Circo brand runs very large. My DD can still wear their NB size onesies. Avoid Gap/Old Navy - they are short and wide, BRU brand clothes, and Gerber. They all run small. Gymboree is pretty true to size.

Re: If you have a taller baby and in size 3-6 months...clicky poll

DS is 3 months now. He was in 3-6 months at 2 months old so 8 or 9 weeks. He's slowed down in his growth lengthwise but was 24.1 inches at 2 months.
Oh, and I find Circo (Target brand) tend to run the biggest.
