Taylor Hanson and his wife Natalie are expecting baby #5. The people.com article is about an article that Natalie wrote for nameberry.com about the names they chose for their other 4 kids. Overall, I think they have made some great naming choices!

I love how the People readers offer (unsolicited) naming advice to Natalie. I don't think they understand that someone who writes for Nameberry would never consider a name like Nevaeh. But then again, it's only since I've become an active member of this board that I've become a name snob.

Make Nevaeh go away... Omg! How can so many people like that name? It's horrible!! And the only one I know has a druggie mom who lives in some of the lowest trailer parks you can live in... The name is very trashy to me because of that.

FYI: nothing against trailer parks just the ones she chooses are nothing but drug dealers and/or users...

Lol! I kinda feel bad about it, but that's what Nevaeh makes me think of too. Trashy. I don't understand the appeal. It's awful.

Oh, and, one of the comments said that five children is too many. We shouldn't produce anymore than two because it overpopulates the world. Is this person suggesting they exile three of their children?

I'm really digging the name Viggo even though I wouldn't use it.

I love that they don't keep the names secret and yet don't let anyone else's opinons change theirs. People on here are always going on about how they don't share the names because of what others may say. Who cares? You're the parents you get to pick the names. My mom didn't care for our first DD's name but that didn't stop me from using it. I get if you don't want to tell because you want it to be a surprise but I guess I'm like her. It's this name, like it or not. Once it's decided it's not up for discussion by anyone. As for the suggestions, not so great. LOL!

I'm sad that SV suggested such awful names, as that's what I'm known by on another TB board, LOL.

I'm glad so many people are anti-Nevaeh. But I doubt Taylor and Natalia will be reading of the suggestions, anyway.
