I'm looking for some new toys for DD for a cross-country trip (~12 hours total) next month. She'll be a few weeks shy of 1, and it's her first time on an airplane.
Any suggestions? Something I can stuff in a diaper bag without too many issues, without a bazillion parts to lose.
Re: toys for the airplane?
I totally agree - I bring toys, but the drink cup keeps him most entertained.
What does your LO like? Mirrors always keep DS occupied...cups....in flight magazines...his socks and shoes...playing peekaboo with a blankie?
ETA: depending on how long your flights are, walk around the plane, talk to other babies on the plane, hang out by the galley (if the attendants let you). We flew DFW to Honolulu, and the flight attendants loved babies. We stood at the back near the galley for awhile and DS liked watching them bustle around. There were also other parents back there trying to entertain their babies, so it was nice to chat with them.
