DH and I think we have narrowed down our girls name due in October. I am using the letters J and C to name after our uncles who have passed (Jewish tradition) If you have any other suggestions that would be great.
Juliet Carly ETA:Carly is after DH's Uncle (I also like Claire)
Cecilia Jane
Also-Is Juliet getting popular? I am seeing it a lot more on here.

Re: Thoughts on two girl names
I love Cecilia Jane. Juliet is pretty but I am not a huge fan of Carly.
Juliet seems to be gaining in popularity, but I don't know one IRL.

I don't know if it is actually getting popular, in the sense that people are actually naming their daughters this, but I sure do here it ALL THE TIME on here...its starting to get old. But that has nothing to do with you. And its still a nice name and if you really like you shouldn't worry too much about popularity (in my eyes).
But with all that said I do prefer Juliet Carly over Cecilia Jane.
UH, I am not sold on Carly either. I really want Juliet Claire but DH's uncle was Carl, therefore Carly is important to him. I figured it isn't terrible as a middle name though.
I LOVE Cecilia Jane! Juliet is beautiful, but Carly is nms...I think Juliet Claire flows a little better.
Other suggestions: Caroline June and Josephine Claire
Wow, we must have similar taste in names...I love both of them (with the exception of Carly - could you do Caroline instead?).
Juliet has definitely started trending upwards, but it's still in the 250s.
Exactly this!!
I vote Juliet Claire.
ezra everyday
Love both your FN choices--it would be hard for me to choose.
I also like them together, ie Juliet Cecilia or Cecilia Juliet.
While I'm not inherently a fan of Carly, I do really like that it honors a family member more directly, so I would say to go for it!
Totally this!
I looked in my baby book and these are girl names with 'Carl' in them:

Carleen/Carlene (English) form of caroline
Carlena (English) caroline
Carlin (Irish) little champion (Latin) short form of caroline
Carlita (Italian) form of Carlotta
Carlotta (Italian) a form of charlotte
Carly (English) a familiar form of Caroline, Charlotte.
Carlyle (English) Carla's island
Carlyn/Carlynn (Irish) form of Carlin

Do you like Carla? I think it fits better than Carly... but if it's super important to your DH than I would let it slide.
Thanks for this. I will discuss it with DH. The reason for Carly is that was his uncles nickname. I do like Juliet Carla better though.
Juliet Carly really doesn't flow at all.
I much prefer Cecilia Jane.
My 1 year old niece is named Juliette. Other than that I don't know anyone with that name.
I like Juilet Carly.
