So I'm not a HUGE Olympics fan, but I'll watch some of it. The last time the summer Olympics were going on I was actually vacationing in Europe, which made it really fun to watch and a great way to interact with other people (everyone there loved Michael Phelps).
So what are you guys looking forward to? Any certain sport? To be honest, the only thing I'll probably plan to watch is the whole Lochte v. Phelps drama...I mean events. And I'm not even sure when that starts, but I think tomorrow.
Re: Olympics
I'm excited to see some good bands tonight. The one thing England can do better than China is kickass music. I was a swimmer so I always enjoy watching those events plus gymnastics.
I even managed to squeeze into my t-shirt from four years ago.
I LOVE the Olympics! I get very excited. I love watching all the diving and swimming events. I also enjoy the triathlon, rowing and pretty much anything!
I did a whole Olympic unit 2 years ago with my grade 2 class when they were in Vancouver. My whole class was decorated for celebrating Team Canada's wins and milestones.
So ya, I'm a huge enthusiast and super pumped that I get to sit at home all day and watch Olympics all day! And now when I'm up half the night I have something to watch on TV!
I love the olympics!! Looks like most of the coverage starts around 5am my time, and thats usually when I wake up and can`t get back to sleep! LOL! I was pregnant during the last summer games too, so I remeber laying around for two weeks watching!! And the 2010 winter games were great to watch just because they were held in Canada!
I love the swimming and gymnastic events, and this year my oldest is really looking forward to watching the TaeKwonDo, because he started taking it this year himself, and I am excited to experience that with him!
I agree. The Brits can rock
Lookin' good in your shirt!

Do you get NBC at least? Most of the "big" Olympic events are on NBC. You should be able to see the prime time stuff even without cable.
That being said, I LOVE the Olympics. Our TV with not be on anything else while I'm home. I like Gymnastic (both artistic and rhythmic), Swimming, Diving and Track & Field the most. But I find Archery and Beach Volleyball interesting as well.
I love the Olympics! Diving and swimming, gymnastics, some track and field events, vball, soccer, tennis.... etc etc
We watched a rerun of the Opening Ceremonies last night. I agree that the giant baby was terrifying!
