I'm a first -timer, so all of the products that are on the market are a bit overwhelming as there are so many things to choose from, safety considerations, etc. My co-worker suggested the Baby Bargains book. I got it this week and have been reading and it's been pretty insightful. Has anyone else used this book? Any advice you can give to a first timer on building a registry?

I found out that baby bargains has a website too -- and signed up.
The good thing about the website is all the information is completely up to date.
A one year subscription in only about $20. Really not bad when you think about all the information you'll have access too, not to mention the money you could save.
The other thing I love about the website is that there are NO ADS! That tells me that they are legit and don't take money for advertisments. They also state that they are not ever lobbied. So no free gifts from competing organizations. You'll receive unadulterated, straight up info. Highly recommend!
