Cloth diapers and circumcision?

Doctor said to use vaseline on the circumcision for 1 month.  I'm sure this will ruin my cloth diapers so we are still using disposables.  What did you all do or recommend doing?  I'd like to start cloth before 1 month.

Just use disposable or fleece liners.  If you go the fleece route, make sure you wash them seperate from the diapers.

DS was healed up nicely within 2 weeks.

I cut up an old recieving blanket and an old T-shirt into small squares.  I just threw the squares away at every diaper change.

We only used vaseline for about 10 days, I took the large cotton circles that you get by the cotton balls and put the vaseline on those and then wrapped it around it.

The nurse did say a month "to be sure" but I will ask at his first appointment in a few days.  It does look really good, like it wouldn't need the vaseline so hopefully his ped will say I can stop soon.

I asked this same question a week or so ago and some ladies just used disposable until he healed.  I think that's the route I'm going to take then I don't have to worry about buying new born CDs because he should be big enough to fit in the one size by then.

I asked my OB about this. He said I didn't have to use Vasoline as long as what I used was safe for an open cut and would keep his penis from sticking to his diaper. I brought in a tube of Grandma El's and he said that was ok so that's what I used. It's CD safe.
