It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to
My coffeemaker broke this morning 
, and I'm dying here. I didn't realize how reliant I am on my morning cup o' joe. DD was up at midnight and again at 4am and wouldn't go back to bed. I eventually brought her into bed at 5am for 45 min until my DS woke up. I then sleepily dragged myself to kitchen and my coffeemaker wouldn't start. Not a good start to my birthday!
On another note, does anyone own a Keurig? Pros or cons? I had a Cuisinart which I liked and lasted 6+ years, but I'm thinking about getting the single cup Keurig brewer.

First of all, happy birthday! I hope your day gets better. Second, I'm so sorry your coffeemaker broke! What terrible timing!
The family I nannied for before DD was born had a Keurig. I really liked it. If you like the ability to brew a cup at a time, it's great. You and your DH or guests can each have the kind you like. However, if you and your DH both drink a lot of coffee and often make and use a whole pot at a time, it might not be so great. You'd definitely end up spending a lot more money on coffee with the Keurig, particularly if you usually make and drink whole pots at a time. 3-4 K-cups per person per day adds up quickly!
We have this in addition to a regular coffee maker and I like it because I can do more with it.

We have a Keurig and really like it but mainly use it during the weekend since we both take a large travel mug of coffee to work with us. The k-cups can be kind of pricy and we try to buy them when they are on sale and my mom has found them at Marshall's and Home Goods before at a good price. I also purchased the insert that you can put your own coffee grounds in.

I love my Keurig. It's so easy. I'm lazy, so this is a major pro for me. I order from keurig.com and they deliver (again, lazy).
