I hate moving!! (vent)

If you'll so kindly allow me to vent for a moment...I hate moving!! (BTW...noryang, I know my move is nothing like yours - you are amazing for making your move - so ignore me!!)  

We are moving to WI, which is where I'm from and where all my family is. I got a great teaching job up there starting in a month and I'm super excited! DH - after much worrying about his parents - is even excited and looking forward to it.

However this whole moving process sucks! We have to sell our house and DH will be living here until the house sells and then he'll move to WI and join us. We've been getting the house ready to sell all week and it's not easy with a baby. Plus DH has been working long hours all week and comes home crabby and not wanting to do anything even though there is a ton to do. He has been helping a lot but he's been short and snippy and I've ignored it until tonight because I know how hard he's been working, but I really wanted to just give him a swift kick in his arse! 

Also, I've been cleaning each room up and getting it ready, and I swear he's worse than DS. He goes in the room and somehow messes it up. If I have to pick up one more almost empty water bottle from random places in our house I'm going to smack him with it!! I'm concerned if the house doesn't sell before DS and I leave in 2 weeks that it will never look this clean again with DH being here by himself.

Okay, I feel better now. I am just praying this house sells quickly and we can be done with all this.

Good luck with your sale!  Hopefully it sells quickly for you.  Maybe on e you and DS leave, your DH will have the motivtion to keep it clean because the faster it sells, the faster he can with with you guys again.

I hear ya!! Our house has been for sale since the beginning of June, and it sucks!! We had MIL babysit for a weekend while we got everything ready here, so that we just had to do a quick clean before showings. Totally worth it!

But yeah, since DH works and Im a SAHM, most of the work is on me when there is a showing. And it sucks bc we have a dog too, so she needs to come with us when we leave. We've had a million showings but no offers. Yesterday DH accepted a new job that is far from here, but really close to where I got transferred for work, so we HAVE to move now too.
