Odd feeling in back

I'm really not sure how to describe it. It's like a very dull pinching, thumping kind of feeling, and it's not painful at all. I typically feel it 3-5 times over 30 seconds or so, and then I don't feel it again for a while, and it mostly happens in my lower back and sides, and occasionally in the area of my cervix, maybe a bit higher. Could it be baby? I've googled and I can't find anything similar to what I'm feeling.

I've been noticing something similar to what you're describing - including my cervix. Last night I got momentarily panicked and then remembered that since I've been pregnant so much, I don't really feel the early fluttery movements anymore (I guess the ute is immune - or just already so stretched out, there ain't no going back) so I realized that it's probably actually my body responding to the baby moving. I get BH by like 16wks now & get the really tight uterus from pushing a shopping cart already too - use to only be 32/34+ weeks. The body reacts early each time so, I would bet if there is nothing else, like spotting, etc. it's probably just 3rd-baby body reactions.
