Hudson is treading upwards, it might be more common then you'd think. I met a baby Hudson and the mom told me she wanted something unique and I don't really think that Hudson would fit the bill. Gideon is far more uncommon, it just seems odder paired with Hudson, but tbh I don't care a whole ton about sibsets. In other words, it's fine but nothing exceptional.
Meh, I live in the Hudson Valley region of NY, so this name is sort of stale to me. It's pretty surname-ish for not being a family name. I wouldn't side-eye it, but Gideon is a better name IMO.
Gideon is very nice, but I don't care for Hudson. I really don't like LN as FN
The waste in life lies in the love we have not given, the powers we have not used and the selfish prudence that will risk nothing; and which shirking pain, misses happiness as well.

I agree about trending upwards...I don't know many babies yet but I've heard of 4 baby Hudsons born recently and one about to be born. If you want something different/unusual it might not be a good pick.
