I definitely think gas, but that's because I've felt a few flutters as well the past few days...and then there's a, um, "release" about 20 minutes later.

I don't think you are stupid at all!!! I actually was questioning myself as well. THis is my 3rd but i do know it is way tooo early for movement. And i have been really gassy!

If I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks and now this is my second pregnancy you think I would still feel earlier symptoms than other first time pregnancies?
I was just about to come on here and say that I have felt movement today. I felt something the other day, but I told myself "no." today? I seriously think it's real movement. The total flip-flop, where they do a somersault, and then just little "quickening" feelings.
I'm 12w4d, but baby is measuring almost a week ahead, so maybe???
ETA: This is my third pregnancy, so I definitely know what movement feels like.
If you look at how big the baby is at 9 weeks, I'd say it's highly unlikely you're feeling movement, but there's really no way of knowing for sure!
oh I know! Trust me, I could prob take some kind of test to be a licensed ob at this point I know so much (between last preg. and this one). I just swear that's what it feels like...even if it is very unlikely something that small could be felt!
I keep thinking that I'm feeling the baby move (my 2nd pregnancy), but I'm 75% sure mine are just phantom kicks, aka gas or stomach muscle twitches, given how small the baby is. I did, however, read last night that some gals feel as early as 13 weeks, so maybe it is.
I'm curious to hear what my doc says about it at our appointment tomorrow.
I have been feeling the baby move. Little flutters here and there. And I do have gas (I am on zofran and constipated, believe me, I have gas) but this is not gas. I felt DD move at 14 weeks. I felt my 2nd baby move once or twice, and I miscarried at 14 weeks.
And to the PP who said that miscarried at 16, asking if that counts towards things starting early, I definitely think so. I am showing already, and have been measuring ahead.

Me too.

I've actually read that second (or 3rd, 4th, etc) time moms can start feeling movement as early as 11-12 weeks. I've thought I felt flutters a few times, but it was likely gas (felt just like that "brushing against your insides" sensation, though).

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:26-27&33-34
Re: Please don't think I'm stupid
