How are you pronouncing it? When I see it spelt like this I think of the city in NC, which we pronounce a Ra-lee (I'm Canadian).
However my sister's name is Raelee. Pronounced Ray-lee. Which I think is a wonderful girl's name and she gets lots and lots of compliments on it. Have never met another.
The waste in life lies in the love we have not given, the powers we have not used and the selfish prudence that will risk nothing; and which shirking pain, misses happiness as well.

I guess I have the unpopular opinion because I don't mind it (I would if you decided to somehow change the spelling). I don't get how people don't know how to pronounce it. I have heard the name Raleigh Ann and thought it flowed well. I happen to like Charlotte and I'm not going to cross it off my list because it is the name of a city.
Disclaimer: I live in the south so hearing that word doesn't sound strange to me but I could see how it might for someone living elsewhere.
well, i think people might think you are saying Rylee/Rylie/Ryleigh when you call your child from across a room. i don't really care for it, but it doesn't sound terrible. I don't like the combination w/Alaina at all.
Sounds like Riley with a really weird southern-ish accent. No good, imo.
Now all I can think of is the red headed girl in teen mom (Maci?) saying "Riley" and it coming out Raleigh, lol. it'd be a good sibset with Bentley. :P

Over and above the whole "masculine/NC city" thing, people would have trouble with pronunciation.
Ray-lee?
Rah-lee?

Don't do that. Everyone will expect your next kid to be Indianapolis, Atlanta, Denver or Des Moines.

I think it's really terrible.
If the city has some significance to you I could get behind it as a mn.
