Recommed your XL baby gate

We have a doorway that is 76" wide.  I took out our babygates from under the house and washed them up.  I am disappointed to see that the one that our friend gave us is only 47" wide.  Grr!!  Recommend your extra large baby gate, pretty please

p.s. Anyone else having a hard time getting onto the bump?  It's taking forever to load!

Re: Recommed your XL baby gate

  • I think mine goes up to 50ish inches. After some googling, I haven't found one that gets that wide. Maybe you could nail/screw together 2 wooden one's to create a long one?

  • I think the one step ahead catalog has something. You can probably find them online.

  • Thanks ladies.  I wasn't expecting to shell out tons of $, but I am sure that I will have to for this bigass doorway.

  • We have a play yard from northern states, I believe, which is metal amd can be taken apart - it also has one gate. If you were using two or three of the elements, it would cover your doorway.

It is what I use when we go to my ILs for their one staircase - it is wide and we don't want to drill into the banisters.

Would that be an option? They are pricy, but you get a play yard and the gate, so I justified the cost for me.

    Hmm, I didn't think of that...good idea!
