We have BOB and love it. The front wheel can be stationary or moveable. I use the moveable position for walking around the area and DH uses it stationary for running. We paid $150 for a used one off craigslist.
our BOB revolution was a gift, $350 on sale. you can often find them on CL though for much less. we use the swivel wheel for walking, stationary for running.
I'm a BOB fan. We love ours! We haven't used our chicco stroller in months. I'm back to running with my little man and it's so much fun! Got ours at REI on sale. Totally worth the price! I have kept the front wheel stationary but it has the other option - just haven't found the need to try it. Oh, and it treks through the soft sand - we've been to the beach several times and it's easy to load up with all our gear and trek through the soft sand. And I lower it down and after he falls asleep for a nap I lay him flat in it and he'll nap for 45-60 mins!

We have the Baby Trend Cobblestone Velocity jogging stroller. I have no complaints with it. The front wheel can be locked if needed. We keep it unlocked most of the time. We paid around $160.00 for it at BRU. I think it was on sale. I chose it b/c my Graco infant seat fits it perfectly!

I have the BOB revolution and love it! It has the option for the front wheel to be fixed or not. I keep it fixed when I run and not when I use it for walking or on errands. I would definitely get one with an option to lock it or not. I really feel like LO is very secure in there!
Another BOB lover here. We have a single and a double. They are amazing strollers if you can afford it. I would definitely look on Craigslist for one though. I got my double on there for less than half of the price of a new one and it's in good condition.
Tell me about your jogging strollers, ladies! What brand and how much did you pay?
I'm mostly interested in the front wheel, whether it's stationary or moveable and how you feel about that.
It really depends on what your needs, actually. If you want a stroller for jogging and indoor use (malls, stores etc), you might want to consider swivel front wheel. But if you intend to use it primarily and only for routine and serious exercise, you may take a look at fixed front wheel.
