I am still on the look out for a good boys name that has the meaning of poet. As a result I have been looking into names of Poets as well. My favorite name in this category is unfortunately also used as a religious slur, and while I am not religious I do not approve of slurs...so that name is out.

So how about Blake?

Meh.  I don't love it or hate it.  My brother's name is Blake, and he's kind of a jerk (not going to lie, he's crazy). The name is OK, I just associate it with a not so great person.  If I knew someone IRL naming their boy Blake, I wouldn't side eye or say "ew".
